Ordercare Release 5

The ConceptWave Order Management module enables proactive workflow management, including full end-to-end visibility of fulfillment activities.

Ordering systems are no longer just for the back-office. The need for customer self-care channels is placing an increased importance on flexible form design in order to maximize user-friendliness. Plus, converged/multiplay services are characterized by multi-part orders which necessitate more complex forms for internal staff and customers.

Release 5 of the Order Care platform focuses on the advanced user interface capabilities that are increasingly being demanded by service providers and their customers. ConceptWave has employed Google Web Toolkit (GWT) to enable AJAX applications which exhibit the flexibility and performance of contemporary Web 2.0 applications.

New features available in Release 5 include:

Advanced Form Designer Controls - drag and drop re-usable "widgets" to design/edit UI forms - no programming required.
Dynamically Generated Forms - ConceptWave Order Care® auto-generates a generic UI form layout based upon metadata configuration; GWT enables full customization of the UI form(s) while maintaining the original integrity of the UI-to-metadata relationship.
Server Response - in production, users may work on forms (i.e. data entry, button select, etc.) which will dynamically generate a server response without initiating a page refresh; this results in a much faster, more responsive user experience.
Images & Icons - full support for all forms of images/graphics/icons including URL hyperlinks.
Easy to Learn - for Service Providers, System Integrators - the Order Care UI Design Toolkit is highly intuitive and takes less than two hours to learn.

Together with ConceptWave's flexible metadata development environment, GWT and AJAX enables Service Providers to rapidly and easily customize the Order Care user interface to respond to a broad variety of high impact user experiences.
